Text Box: Whizz Bang Costume Hire came about in 1998 after realizing that there was a lack of good quality clean costumes available to hire. Opening in a small shop on Union Road Ascot Vale, we soon realized as our range expanded that we would outgrow our birthplace in no time. A few years later we moved to our current ( and much bigger! ) premises in Maidstone, near Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne's West. Our aim has always been to maintain a  varied and unique wardrobe with something for all shapes and sizes, and we pride ourselves on the quality, and cleanliness of our all our costumes. Text Box: In addition to our range of costumes to hire you'll also find all the extras needed to complete your look, including a huge range of shoes and boots in all sizes, wigs, belts, hats, handbags, jewellery, scarves, headbands, gun belts, character masks, gloves, braces, ties; and the list goes on. Also, we stock an ever expanding range of accessories to buy, some of which include make-up, fun wigs, coloured hair spray, masks, fake teeth, fake blood, toy guns and swords, fake eye lash's, fake bums and boobs, angle wings, moustaches and beards, Halloween and Christmas novelties and ready-to-go costumes. Hire costs range depending on the costume, but average $70-$85.  All that's needed to hire, is a form of I.D such as a drivers license, plus a security deposit (ranges) of either cash or a credit card imprint which is refunded on return. For your convenience we happily accept payments of cash, eftpos, or credit card.
